At HandMadeCarpets.Com, we believe in the power of beautiful rugs to elevate your space, but our commitment extends far beyond aesthetics. We're passionate about weaving a brighter future through our social responsibility initiatives. Here's how we're making a difference:

Empowering Artisans,

Preserving Heritage

  • We partner directly with skilled artisans and weaving communities, particularly in remote areas of rural India, ensuring the supply of the best raw material for weaving rugs, ensure we follow fair trade practices and offer safe and healthy working conditions for our weavers.
  • We support the preservation of traditional weaving techniques, ensuring this cultural heritage is passed down through generations and to strengthen this, we offer educational and training opportunities to empower artisans and support the continued growth of this beautiful art form.
  • We go a step further by offering continuous work and financial aid to weavers who need additional support. This ensures they have a reliable source of income and can focus on their craft.
  • Additionally, we have set up a support system for weavers and supply looms to artisans, helping them establish or expand their weaving practice in the communities and regions we work in. We have supplied more than a 1000+ looms in the last 3 years
  • We're dedicated to fostering girl child education. We believe education empowers future generations and opens doors to new opportunities. We're currently developing a scheme to provide educational resources and encourage girls within these weaving communities to pursue their education.
